After a decent week last week, I am looking to press on and get my overall record back over the .500 mark but there are some difficult games coming down the pike this weekend. The action gets started with an epic clash of hated rivals as Liverpool will play Manchester United at Old Trafford in what has to be considered [...]

Apologies for not getting out a midweek article, and an additional apology for the brevity of the post to ensue. This weekend is going to be offering up several key matches that might very well have far-reaching effects. Several down-table matches should provide emerging relegation story lines, while several mid-table teams clash with one another as well. The week will [...]

Tom Brady changes into his practice gear in front of a locker that has Manning in gold plating on the door, much to the chagrin of Colts Nation, the New England Patriots are the AFC representatives for Super Bowl XLVI to be played in the playground home of Peyton Manning and his Indianapolis Colts teammates.

Welcoming myself and you all back to a sorely missed part of my week. Apologies for the hiatus for any of you who’ve read my weekly predictions before. I was incredibly unsuccessful over the course of my absence, with my best two weeks amounting to only 4-6 record, following the two previous weeks of a combined 5-15. That brings my [...]

Through 13 weeks of the NFL season, it was a foregone conclusion the Indianapolis Colts would hold the first pick in the 2012 draft– better known as the rights to so-called quarterback prodigy Andrew Luck.

It was a tough week in the prediction business. Some unsuspected results, and just two wins in the entire set of games, wrecked most in the prediction business. I went 3-7, negatively affecting my overall record, bringing it to 82-77. (51.5%). I need to get back to basics, and hopefully the league won’t throw up seven draws again. Liverpool v. [...]

The first set of fixtures of the festive period were good to me. Another 6-4 week brought me to a 79-70 record overall, and I added two more perfect predictions to the tally. As we get set for the Boxing Day fixtures, some new trends (or rather a deepening of an already existing one) at the top. Right now, it [...]

When Indiana University Head Basketball Coach Tom Crean was hired, he made a comment; “There are a lot of schools that don’t want Indiana to be good”. For three years, those schools were relishing their opportunity to stick it to the Hoosiers on the basketball court and on the recruiting circuit. Twelve games into the 2011-12 season those schools have reason for concern.
