SEC Bowl Game Picks
#2 Oregon vs. #1 Auburn (-3): On paper this could be a classic. Both teams have been great against the number all season. Auburn has made a habit of coming from behind all season and having Cam Newton makes that possible.

In College Football’s premier conference, the first Saturday of December usually has a berth in the BCS title game at stake for the winner of the SEC Championship game. This year is no different, but the participants weren’t necessarily expected to be playing for the SEC crown.
Rivalry games are often hard to handicap, especially rivalry games with this much on the line.
Mississippi at Tennessee (-2.5): Two teams that are very inconsistent against the line. Taking the Rebels to win outright on the road. Rebels by 6.
I hope your making some money of these picks. I sure am. To date, in the three conferences I prognosticate here on MCS, I’m picking at a rate of 86% (110-18) when I’m not using the line and a very impressive 84% overall (92-28) against the line.
Took a week off and now Money Matt is back to run the table. Take these to the bank. Let’s look at the SEC.
I had my first under .500 week in any conference last week in SEC play, but I’m still picking at a .700 clip in SEC play, which is generally tough anyways. I will rebound and have a huge week this week. Take it to the bank.
Record last week: 7-1. Record against the spread last week: 5-2.
Money Matt’s season record: 26-3. Money Matt’s season record against the spread: 20-6.
Money Matt boasts a 19-2 record on the season and an astounding 15-4 record against the spread.
Not too bad of a week. Florida and Ole Miss cost me losses but overall did well. more of that to come. The SEC slate in Week 2 is much better then in Week 1 where most teams played cupcakes…and one got beat by one. Some teams begin conference play this week which usually means good football games. Time to take Week 2 right to the bank
