It was announced on Monday that beginning with the 2012-13 football season, TCU will become the newest member of the Big East Conference in all sports.
BYU has announced in a press release today that they will leave the Mountain West Conference and will go independent in football and will join the West Coast Conference in every other sport.
The decision has been made about who will start at QB for BYU.
Sort of. While junior Utah State transfer Riley Nelson will likely start against Washington, both he and true freshman Jake Heaps will play according to a BYU press release this morning.
The latest round of rumors suggest that BYU will not declare its independence and remain in the Mountain West Conference.
